Introduction
Under the Constitution of the Republic of Fiji, the Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission is empowered to receive and investigate alleged breaches of human rights as well as take steps to secure appropriate redress.
The Human Rights Commission Decree provides that all investigations conducted by the Commission are conducted in private. All communication, therefore, is treated with strict confidentiality.
